Kirwin/Murray Tour de Falmouth

Falmouth Housing Corporation is proud to continue what we hope will be a new tradition honoring Peter Kirwin and Bob Murray, two champions of homelessness prevention and access to  affordable housing in Falmouth.

We're thrilled to announce the Falmouth Board of Selectmen has approved our 4th Annual Kirwin/Murray Tour de Falmouth ride date for Sunday, October 11 with a rain date of Monday, October 12.

Registration will begin at 7:30 am at our starting location, The Ellen T. Mitchell Bath House at 56 Surf Drive, Falmouth. The planned route is roughly along the Falmouth Marathon route for about 29 miles (click here for detailed route map).  There will be a shorter route to accommodate younger or more relaxed riders for approximately 10 miles, perfect for parents and their children along the coastline.

The main route will begin at the Surf Drive Beach House.  The shorter route will begin one half hour after and progress from Surf Drive Beach House to Menauhant Beach where riders will turn around and head back to the start point.  There will be refreshments and water at the end of the ride.

All participants will be required to wear helmets.  This is not a race; it will be a fun ride to commemorate two amazing men and help raise awareness and funds for FHC’s mission.

Join us this October 11 to help commemorate Peter Kirwin and Bob Murray, have a great time, and help give your neighbors a hand up!

Registration is now open!!

Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and an invitation to an after party at Liam Maguire's Irish Pub (Downtown Falmouth) with light refreshment and a complimentary beer ticket. All participants must wear helmets.

The Falmouth Housing Corporation, home of the Falmouth Homeless Prevention Program would like to say "Thank You" to all of our sponsors! Your continued support to this worthy program is deeply appreciated.
